Transferring Solemnities Says They Aren’t Important!

The Solemnity of All Saints is my second favorite ordinary time feast day in the liturgical year. Yet because it’s a Monday, it’s not a day of obligation. And since there’s no obligation, my parish didn’t schedule any additional Masses. The 8:30am Mass is it.

When I’m temporarily exhausted with being furious about this, it breaks my heart. I wanted to attend Mass today. Preferably this evening, with my husband and my son. And I can’t.
