Needle Guardian

TW’s Needle Guardian was my fun relaxation procrastination piece when I really should have been working on the baptismal gift for my Goddaughter. But I was so sick of stitching with blending filament that I needed a break, and this was it.

I was skeptical about the dark blue felt, but it worked out very nicely. Yes, that ribbon is just stitched to the back of the stitching. The edge is done with nun stitch – I was really dubious about its holding power, but it’s the best edging stitch I’ve ever seen.

Contrary to popular belief, it says “Rebecca owns these needles” not “Rebecca owns cheese needles.” Thanks Dad.
