Public Service Announcement GeekLady 3:22 pm

So we’re heading up to the parental’s residence for what can’t really be classified as a LONG weekend, just a standard length weekend.  But the sister and brother-in-law and brother will all be there, so there will be partying.  Partying in the form of games (card and computer), lots of really good food, and a dismal lack of booze on my part.

I shall try to cope.

Public Service Announcement and State of the Blog GeekLady 1:58 pm

 …but the author has been sick since, roughly, Thanksgiving.

  • First she ate at El Pato’s and got some sort of food poisoning.
  • Then she got a cold that lasted from before Christmas to after New Years.
  • Then said cold moved into her ethmoid and frontal sinuses, causing an unreal amount of pain.  Which was exacerbated by repeated 40 degree changes in temperature, up and down, up and down.
  • Now allergy season has begun.

 Semi-regular posting will resume as soon as the author can stop sneezing.

WordPress told me to update my About page. So I did, but tried to make it look like I didn’t, because I don’t like inanimate objects telling me what to do, and I hope I confused it.
